Job Details
We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Information Assistant to provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative support service to the Assessor Service. You will undertake various administrative tasks associated with the functions of the Assessor Service, including data input/retrieval, document processing, scanning, filing, producing professional office documents, and dealing with telephone enquiries.
The role involves dealing with the public by telephone, responding to internal and external customers, and providing information on valuation for Rating and Council Tax purposes. You are required to have a high level of interpersonal skills to work as a member of a team to ensure positive outcomes for the team and service.
The Person
The qualifications required for the post are Standard Grade Maths and English or equivalent, along with team working and organisational skills. Experience in a similar environment involving filing and scanning is necessary, as well as the ability to provide a regular and effective service. Initiative-taking skills and an understanding of Data Protection/confidentiality are also required.
