Their Commercial Property team plays a pivotal role in supporting clients with a wide range of property transactions and advice. They are now seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to join their team and contribute to their continued success. Description As a Legal Secretary in our Commercial Property team, you will provide crucial administrative and secretarial support to our solicitors and fee earners. Your main duties will include: Document Management : Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and contracts. Managing and maintaining accurate filing systems (electronic and physical). Client Support : Acting as a first point of contact for clients, managing inquiries professionally and efficiently. Scheduling meetings and managing diaries for fee earners. Transaction Coordination : Assisting with pre-completion and post-completion processes, including SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, and requisitions. Supporting the team in handling property transactions from instruction to completion. Administrative Tasks : Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls. Processing bills and preparing financial documentation for transactions. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Profile To excel in this role, you should have: Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Commercial Property team or similar legal environment.(MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE) Strong knowledge of property transactions and relevant legal documentation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
