Responsibility for:* Ensuring inspection and maintenance tasks are being completed in a timely manner * Ensuring the work tasks follow the correct procedures* Conducting maintenance and repairs to the signalling and telecommunications equipment* Switching of electrical substations* Oversight of contractors carrying out planned works on the signalling and telecommunications equipment* Assisting in test and commissioning of new systems* Continuous assessment and improvement of working practices* Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside of normal working hours* On Call duties* Night shift work to perform maintenance and repair work as may reasonably be required It is essential that you have:* A good working knowledge and competence in electrical / mechanical systems.* Recognised Electrical Qualification at Level 3 or above.* Experience in the use of computer based diagnostic equipment.* The ability to read and understand electrical sc...
