Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Order Coordinator to oversee the processing and management of customer orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, be proficient in data entry, and have a solid understanding of administrative tasks.
Duties
1. Manage the entire order process from constructing and providing a quote, through receipt, to fulfilment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Maintain detailed records of customer orders, including data entry and updates in the system.
3. Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, changes, and inquiries.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
5. Perform clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and maintaining organised office records.
6. Assist in the development of efficient order management processes to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in an administrative or office management role is preferred.
2. Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in utilising Microsoft software.
4. Excellent email and phone etiquette and communication skills.
5. Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiarity with general office procedures and practices is an advantage.
