We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator at our location in Beccles.
What does the role include?
The role will require the candidate to actively schedule and control tasks for multiple projects using a variety of systems to plan and monitor production activities. You will report to the Planning Manager and as the link between the design office, supply chain and production departments, you will create and distribute the Works Orders for the manufacture and assembly of parts to build our bespoke machines.
To support the group Project Management team with organising and controlling project activities and to assist in the delivery of complex, high value engineering/technical projects.
This is a fast-paced role and you will be required to undertake a wide variety of tasks on daily basis.
You will work between various departments coordinating project deliverables and implement changes to production schedules.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients and internal customers on a day-to-day basis with status updates, variations and scheduling risks through the lifecycle of the project
* Maintain and monitor project schedules and budgets
* Coordinating multiple global projects from requirement capture, throughout development onto delivery
* Support the implementation of project strategies and policies across the PCE Group
* Coordinate, book and plan internal and external meetings including preparation the presentation content
* Taking and distributing detailed meeting minutes
* Update and maintain all department documentation in line with ISO 9001
* Responding to email/Microsoft Teams correspondence for the project management team
Requirements
* The candidate will have a good approach to overcoming operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent time management skills
* Experience of reading engineering drawings (preferred)
* Ideally experience of working in an administrative role
* Experience of an MRP system would be an advantage
* A willingness to learn new skills and expand your skill set
