Role
We require Sessional Staff for a number of our services including Hyper Cyber Youth Project in Blantyre and GIVITsome STREET project. If you have experience as a Youth Worker or a Recovery Support Worker this might be for you.
You will work with young people aged 11 – 20 years either within a youth project or The GIVIT Service depending on your experience and the area of work that most interests you.
You will provide practical and emotional support to young people through one-on-one support and group activities. In conjunction with your colleagues, you will organise activity programmes, trips out, food, topical workshops, and issue-based work.
You will encourage and support young people to participate in opportunities both internal and external to Regen:fx.
You should have a genuine interest in working with young people, excellent communication skills, and be able to build positive relationships. Any specialist skills in Sport, Social Media, Technology, or Drama would be welcomed.
Successful applicants should have experience of working with young people.

What You’ll Do:
* Provide meaningful 1:1 support and facilitate group sessions for young people engaging with our service.
* Build strong, trust-based relationships grounded in respect, care, and understanding.
* Work closely with a supportive and experienced team, with opportunities to learn and develop through comprehensive training and shadowing.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A motivated individual with experience in Youth Work and/or the Recovery Field.
* Someone capable of managing a small caseload and fostering genuine connections with young people.
* Someone with flexibility to contribute to our 7-day-a-week service.
We need a youth worker who can contribute to providing group work sessions and successfully engage young people in the service. A knowledge of alcohol and substance harm reduction is desirable. However, we value a genuine interest in youth work and a drive to make a difference.
