About the Role:
As a Pensions Administrator, you will be dealing with the administration of Small Self-Administered pension schemes. You will be responsible for managing and processing all aspects of the pension and dealing directly with clients and advisers. The package includes 25 days holiday, Pension, Death In Service, and Critical Illness.
This Role Will Consist Of:
* Receiving instructions and ensuring that any task activity is accurately completed.
* Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and advisers.
* Informing clients and financial intermediaries of specific matters or issues affecting their schemes, especially actual or potential problems.
* Ensuring that client deadlines, all internally agreed key performance indicators, service standards, and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
* Proactively identifying risk within the department and escalating concerns to the Team Leader.
* Administering your own group of clients and assisting other administrators when there is planned/unplanned absence.
* Completing banking on a daily basis.
* Ensuring emails are answered in a timely manner.
* Opening up and processing new investments for clients.
* Ensuring bank mandates are completed accurately before executing.
* Paying invoices.
* Administering all investments for clients.
* Completing all scheme End of Year accounts prior to the end of the current year.
* Good customer service skills – must have a good telephone manner as well as being able to converse via email and letters.
In time, it will be possible for this role to become hybrid, working from home on a rota basis with the team; however, during training, you will be required to be office-based.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
* You must have strong administrative skills and the ability to identify and process data.
* You will be customer-focused and have the drive to continually improve your knowledge and skillset.
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Must be competent in MS Word and MS Excel.
Key Skills/Experience Preferred but Not Necessarily Required:
* You will possess a good working knowledge of pension products ideally although this can be learnt.
* Customer service experience.
* Accountancy experience.
