The role
Our Food & Beverage Managers focus is to create positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. Through positive leadership of the F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient, effective and profitable service that meets revenue and cost targets.
The role reports directly to the General Manager / Operations Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Leicester / LE2 7QS.
Food & Beverage Manager duties include:
1. Overseeing the food and beverage department, ensuring a consistently outstanding level of service is delivered to all guests and diners.
2. Promoting a culture that anticipates customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Establishing and achieving quality and guest satisfaction goals.
4. Keeping your knowledge up to date, enabling you to make recommendations to guests.
5. Monitoring budgets and controlling expenses and labour costs.
6. Proactively engaging in marketing your hotel's restaurant, both in house and externally.
7. Driving promotions that deliver outstanding dining experiences for guests.

What you’ll bring to the team
An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following attributes:
* Demonstrable success in a Food and Beverage Supervisory/Management position.
* A passion for the Food and Beverage industry and keeping up to date with trends.
* A strong leader, capable of motivating and influencing others to work to defined procedures and standards.
* Numerate, computer literate and able to manage resources within agreed budgets.
* Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
