ICT Consultant
Location: Hackney, Tower Hamlets & Greenwich - East London
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Company Overview: Turn IT on are looking for an ICT Consultant who has a real flair for technology mixed with a passion for providing exemplary service to our customers to join our team supporting schools across East London.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain all IT hardware and services across the schools' sites.
2. Help schools improve the standard of their ICT provisions and enable effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.
3. Facilitate communication between your school and Turn IT on, keeping them updated with available services.
4. Manage customer accounts.
5. Provide technical support for users and resolve identified technical problems.
6. Maintain school computer equipment and install new and existing software across the network.
Minimum Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
1. At least 2 years' experience in a previous ICT Technician/2nd line support role, preferably in the education sector (not essential).
2. A strong technical background and a passion for IT.
3. Self-motivation and excellent customer service skills.
4. Strong communication and organization skills.
5. The ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying ways to improve services.
Technical Skills Required:
1. Good knowledge of common user applications.
2. Experience using Microsoft Office 365.
The role is offered on a full-time, full-year basis, and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
Benefits: In return, we are offering a salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 negotiable for the right person.
