Located just a short walk from Barking Riverside Station, this supportive school is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Position Overview: The school is looking for a passionate and experienced Year 7 Teacher to join their team. The class consists of 8 verbal pupils who exhibit some elements of challenging behavior. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of these students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that engage and inspire Year 7 students. Support students in their academic and social development while managing classroom behavior effectively. Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages student participation. Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to develop personalized learning strategies. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience working with children with Autism and special educational needs is highly desirable. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and differentiated instruction.
