Global Master Data Specialist – P2P Location: Mainly remote working with some travel to the Northwest Salary: up to £45K dependent on experience plus Bonus T2M Resourcing have been appointed to recruit a Global Master Data Specialist – P2P for a global manufacturing group with operations in Europe, The Americas and Asia. Reporting to the Global Process Owner – P2P, the Global Master Data Specialist role is critical to ensuring high-quality master data management through rigorous data cleansing, validation and reporting practices. As Master Data Specialist, you will work closely with the Shared Services Centre(s) and other cross-functional teams to support effective and compliant data-driven operations across the organisation. What will you be doing as Global Master Data Specialist - P2P? Master Data Cleansing and Accuracy Conduct data cleansing activities across P2P master data fields to eliminate duplicates, errors, and inconsistencies. Develop and maintain data-cleansing protocols and guidelines to ensure data is clean, reliable, and compliant Data Validation and Standardisation Perform validation checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and standardisation of P2P data across systems. Collaborate with the Shared Services Centre(s) to align on data governance principles, ensuring global consistency. Data Reporting and Insights Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on data quality metrics, providing stakeholders with insights into data health and recommendations for improvement. Develop and implement dashboards to monitor and communicate data quality status, trends, and impact. Data Governance Support Collaborate with Shared Services, IT, and P2P teams to establish best practices for data governance, ensuring compliance with global data policies. Contribute to the design and deployment of data management strategies to improve data integrity and support global P2P processes. Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement Act as a key resource for resolving data discrepancies and issues reported by Shared Services Centre(s) and business teams. System and Process Optimization Support Shared Services and the business in optimising data management tools and processes, with a focus on SAP and relevant analytics platforms. Provide input for technology assessments, particularly related to data automation, RPA, and AI-based data quality solutions. Training and Documentation Develop and deliver structured training sessions and documentation for data governance processes to ensure consistency across the organisation. Serve as a key contact for P2P data-related inquiries What are we looking for? To be successful as Global Master Data Specialist – P2P, we seek the following skills, experience and attributes: Experience in Master Data and P2P Management - Demonstrated background in master data management within Procure-to-Pay (P2P)/ or a similar financial data environment. Proficient in Excel, SAP, Excel, or equivalent data and reporting tools. Process Improvement Expertise - Proven experience in identifying and correcting data quality issues, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and best practices in data management. Data Governance Knowledge - Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and experience implementing data quality protocols. Stakeholder Collaboration - Ability to work effectively with Shared Services Centres, IT and other stakeholders to align on data management goals and requirements. Conceptual and Analytical Abilities - Skilled in data analysis with strong conceptual skills to support strategic data quality initiatives. Project Management - Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage data-focused projects and meet deadlines. Communication and Training Skills - Clear communicator with experience delivering data-related training and documentation to diverse teams (additional languages a plus). Adaptability and Initiative - Proactive in identifying and addressing data issues, with a continuous improvement mindset and the initiative to drive data quality solutions. What’s in it for you?
