The Role
This is a leadership role where creativity meets commerciality. As Head of Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving the venue's event business, working with high-net-worth clients, luxury brands, agencies, and top-tier event organisers to bring in events with budgets exceeding £100k. Your ability to generate sales and create tailored, innovative proposals will be key to maximising the venue's potential.
With a focus on establishing new partnerships, nurturing relationships, and unlocking untapped opportunities, you will have the autonomy to define and drive the event sales strategy, with no limits on what you can achieve. Creativity and strong industry contacts are essential, as you will be tasked with attracting exclusive events, bespoke experiences, and premium clientele to the venue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the venue's event sales strategy, focusing on high-budget events (£100k+), corporate clients, and luxury brand partnerships.
* Develop and implement a creative sales plan, targeting key sectors such as high-net-worth individuals, premium brands, and top-tier event organisers.
* Leverage your network and contacts to bring in large-scale, high-profile events, ensuring maximum revenue potential.
* Work closely with clients to design and deliver bespoke event experiences, from concept to execution, while ensuring the highest standards of service.
* Build and maintain relationships with luxury brands, event agencies, and key stakeholders in the event industry.
* Identify new revenue streams, activate untapped event opportunities, and continuously drive sales growth.
* Develop targeted proposals and pitch documents to secure high-value event bookings.
* Work collaboratively with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of all events, maintaining high-quality service and guest experiences.
