The Henry Ford Academy provides essential training services to Ford of Britain and Ireland, empowering dealership staff with the skills and knowledge they need to excel.
We’re on a mission to grow our reach and impact, and are actively recruiting for a Commercial Marketing Specialist to join our team to help us achieve that goal.
Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Manager, you will develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans to promote the Henry Ford Academy’s services, build its reputation, and attract new customers and business partners.

Role Responsibilities:
* Implement the marketing strategy for the commercial business in line with company objectives
* Manage and maintain Fleet, facility and Premium Prospectus offering and go to market
* E-shots to prospect audiences
* Organic social media to promote commercial business and support objectives
* Paid social media advertising through external digital channels to generate enquires
* Develop and maintain B2B marketing assets and advertise these assets, for example marketing brochure & picture library to generate business opportunities
* Work with the design team to initiate new ideas to help promote the commercial side of the business
* Explore out of home advertising
* Event support
* Develop & implement a marketing scorecard to support the management & measurement of campaigns
* Support the creation of a wide range of different marketing materials – Including but not limited to video, scripts writing, Livestream support for wider team
* Proofread marketing materials
* Working closely with design agencies, both internal and external when needed
* Build the business profile and promote the Henry Ford Academy facility & premium training offering to the local area and measure progress
* Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing campaigns and objectives
* Collaborate with the Dealer Training Marketing Specialist on HFA added value proposition
* Holiday cover to support Dealer Training Marketing Specialist activities
Person Requirements:
* Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans
* Strong experience with social media marketing to support business objectives
* Event coordination experience to support brand promotion
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
* Team player who can work effectively across functions and with stakeholders
Salary & Benefits: Up to £32,000 dependant on experience, 25 Days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays, Calex Employee Benefits Packages (Inc Private GP and Healthcare Services, High Street Discounts, Discounted Gym Memberships and on Demand 24 Hour Wellbeing Service (Counselling and Advice), Pension, Life Assurance, and optional Private Healthcare cover.
Place of Work: This role is hybrid between home and Henry Ford Academy in Daventry (minimum of 2 days in office, per week), and will require occasional travel to Ford offices in Essex.
Contract: Full time / 12 Month Maternity Cover
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Pre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated references, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). This nature if this role will necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
