Job Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated Engineering and Facilities Supervisor to manage the planned and preventative maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical equipment. This role ensures compliance with current regulations, resolves issues raised by stakeholders, and completes all works safely and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities: Manage M&E maintenance works, including statutory compliance testing, fault finding, and minor repairs. Plan and prioritize workload for the building technician, maintaining accurate records. Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation. Liaise with customers, keeping them informed about the nature and duration of works. Assist the Facilities Manager in formulating a 5-year maintenance program.Person Specification:Essential: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of Facilities Management and H&S legislation. Demonstrable experience in M&E maintenance and repairs. Clear communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full Driving LicenceDesirable: Experience with soft service providers and supervising specialist contractors.Additional Information: This role requires flexibility, the ability to plan and work unsupervised, and a commitment to personal development. A Disclosure and Barring Service check at the basic level is required.
