Plant Process Reliability Engineer

Shift Pattern:
Mon-Friday, 40hrs
Key Duties:
1. Enhance plant performance by focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP).
2. Use data to identify inefficiencies and prioritize and coordinate improvement projects.
3. Drive sustainability through change management and team engagement while maintaining clear communication about project activities.
4. Manage plant improvement projects using LEAN and World Class Manufacturing tools to maximize performance and support key performance indicators (KPIs).
5. Responsible for SQCDP outcomes and participate in initiatives to promote 5-S, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), quality, process control, and energy reduction, making you the champion of continuous improvement on-site.
6. Create site Cost Deployment and prioritize improvement activity arising from this.
7. Clearly communicate cost savings from improvement projects.
8. Support production delivery using focused improvement activities, identifying project areas based on plant losses, customer complaints, and process overages.
9. Monitor and control the site CI Budget and deliver savings.
10. Assist Operations to make recommendations for future expenditure that will enhance site performance in health, safety, environment, production output, and energy.
11. Complete SQCDP audits of the site to a defined schedule and in line with central SQCDP requirements.
12. Provide data for internal and external reporting.
13. Liaise with all departmental areas on the site you are supporting.
Key Requirements:
1. IOSH certificate (or equivalent level) in Safety Management; or be on an internal development program to bring them to this level within 12 months of appointment.
2. Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to manage change to deliver sustainable, measurable improvement in all aspects of manufacturing performance.
4. Project planning and project management.
5. Knowledge/experience of management accounts and budgetary controls.
6. Degree and/or vocational qualification - Engineering.
