Key Responsibilities:
* Diary Management: Proactively manage and resolve diary clashes for Partners and Legal Advisors.
* Meeting Coordination: Organise internal and external meetings and events, optimising the Partners' schedules.
* Document Preparation: Draft and amend documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Client Interaction: Liaise with clients via telephone and occasionally in person, ensuring a professional and friendly approach.
* Financial Administration: Handle billing, cash collection, and financial reporting using SAP.
* Compliance Tasks: Conduct money laundering and conflict check compliance for new client and matter inception.
* Administrative Support: Manage client files, prepare expense claims, and organise travel and accommodation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Legal PA Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within Employment Litigation and ideally Commercial law.
* Technical Proficiency: Excellent keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 65 wpm, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Organisational Skills: Methodical and organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner.
* Team Player: Ability to integrate within a team and work independently, showing initiative and a proactive attitude.
* Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing practices and competing priorities.
