Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: North West
Salary: £40 - 50k + Bonus + Car
We are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the North of the UK including Scotland for a growing national lighting business.
Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers is key, as is finding and winning business from new customers within focused geographical areas. This growing business is adding this new role to meet demand. For this role, we are looking for prior experience selling lighting or electrical products. Having sold to larger national and regional contractors will be needed, and a background of selling to senior management will be essential.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Achieving planned sales and contributions by developing trading with target accounts, both new and existing.
2. To achieve and maintain agreed plans for sales and contributions by servicing existing accounts.
3. To develop sales by opening new trading accounts by use of competitive pricing, making use of trade leads and project tracking information.
4. Develop sales by promoting new products to the appropriate client base.
5. Develop sales by cross-selling a range of relevant products to new and existing accounts.
6. Plan sales activities effectively, maximizing the use of project tracking and leads and journey planning.
7. To plan product promotions with suppliers to achieve sales targets.
8. Maintain and develop excellent product knowledge of relevant products.
About You:
1. Must have account management experience.
2. New business background of finding and winning new business.
3. Exceptional sales and customer relationship skills.
4. Effective leadership skills - able to engage, motivate and work with others.
5. Experience of working in field sales around construction customers.
6. Passionate about sales and driving performance.
7. Proven experience within a field sales role (over 1 year).
