Are you ready for an exciting and challenging opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare delivery at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Countess of Chester Hospital team. You will work closely with the Head of Operations for Cancer and Outpatients, as well as wider Divisional teams and play a key role in the transformation of the current Cancer services at the Trust.
You will lead on the scoping of current Cancer services across COCH, and will work with various key stakeholders to transform and develop services for the future. You will also engage with service users in the design and delivery of these services.
Main duties of the job
* Opportunity to review and scope out the current Cancer service across COCH.
* Support the Diagnostics and Clinical Support Services Division to deliver operational transformation in Cancer services.
* Opportunity to work autonomously but supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Knowledge of the national cancer strategy/agenda/work programme
* Evidence of service development/ improvement initiatives and change in practice
* Understanding of the function of Cancer Services
* Strong project management experience in healthcare
* Degree at master's level
* Sound knowledge and experience of lean methodology
* Project management experience specifically within cancer in the NHS.
Experience
* Advanced IT skills used for developing practice e.g., project management
* Giving presentations to inform and influence practice
* Ability to lead meetings and discussions with teams across the health community
* Ability to prioritise own work, across the Trust, liaising with other staff & teams
