Description
Are you looking for a new challenge in the field of accounts payable? Do you have solid experience in processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payments?
Agility Resourcing is working with a reputable client in the Blackburn area who is looking for an accounts payable specialist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role is available for someone who has at least two years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
You will be responsible for:
1. Processing invoices and matching them to purchase orders and receipts
2. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
3. Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely and accurate payments
4. Maintaining vendor records and files
5. Assisting with month-end closing and reporting
6. Performing other ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
1. AAT qualification or equivalent
2. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
The role is a temporary to permanent position, with a full-time permanent contract available after a 12-week probation period.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience and qualifications, ranging between £25,000 - £29,000.
