ACS International Schools are recruiting a Student Support Teacher to join the Upper School team at ACS Egham International School from August 2025.
The Student Support Teacher will be responsible for working with students, supporting learning across core subject areas, and contributing to the broader school community, with a specific focus on SEND and EAL needs. An interest in Maths would be advantageous.

Key Teaching Responsibilities:
* Teach individuals or small groups of students (grades 6-12) within or outside the classroom, adapting lessons to meet individual needs, including those with SEND and EAL requirements.
* Prepare and present lessons and resources that address the needs of students with mild to moderate learning difficulties and language acquisition challenges.
* Utilise specialised tools and technology, including multimedia resources and digital platforms, to enhance student engagement and learning.
* Ensure teaching practices align with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to provide equitable access to the curriculum for all students.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Educated to Bachelors degree or international equivalent as a minimum in the relevant subject or a Bachelor of Education
* A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/PGDE/QTS/valid Teaching Licence)
* A minimum of two years’ post qualifying teaching experience
* Experience of/willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
* Fluent in both verbal and written English
* Commitment to excellence in education
* Understanding of and commitment to the Mission, Aims and Values of ACS International Schools
* A collaborative approach to team working
* Positive personality, with the ability to judge the appropriate balance of support and challenge that individual young people need in order to thrive.
