Job summary
Victoria Surgery has an opportunity for a secretarial administrator to join our busy practice support team, on a part-time basis for 15 hours per week, Tuesday and Friday, to support our busy administration teams. Interviews will be held week commencing 16th September.
Main duties of the job
1. Co-ordinate and work up SARS requests, confirm verification in place, on spreadsheet for processing and process using IGPR software under supervision of secretarial team.
2. Transcribe dictations.
3. Process all referrals via ERS and ensure safety netting is carried out for all 2 week wait referrals.
4. Monitor emails: Sort and action information request e-mails.
5. Manage telephone enquiries.
6. Raise invoices.
7. Basic paperwork.
8. Recall all long-term condition patients as per surgery protocol.
9. S1 tasks.
10. Queries re waiting times.
11. Processing of insurance and medical reports.
12. Code range of clinical details into notes in line with agreed protocols/procedures.
