WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development of sales through strategic partners across the UK & Ireland. The role complements the End Customer program, focusing on demand creation, identifying new end customer accounts, evaluating business fit, and potential for long-term revenue. Accounts will be identified through deep market analysis, considering factors like governmental spend, legislation, and regulations.
This position requires a blend of market understanding, commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and technical skills. Influencing the customer journey in line with Axis’s strategic priorities is key. You will also create awareness and educate about Axis solutions internally and externally across partner networks.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Building a pipeline of new potential customer accounts across different segments
2. Identifying, nurturing, and developing accounts up to transactional relationships, then handing over to the KAM End Customer organization
3. Developing and delivering a UK & Ireland strategy to position Axis as the #1 choice
4. Collaborating with global sales and other regions for best practices and strategic alignment
5. Developing relationships with new and existing partners
6. Planning and executing Axis event strategies for digital transformation
7. Raising awareness through webinars, events, tours, and promoting Axis’s brand values
8. Identifying key industry forums and establishing thought leadership
WHO ARE YOU?
You are positive, outgoing, and thrive in team environments. You understand how digital technologies can transform business processes, culture, and customer experiences. You are well-networked, adaptable to change, and goal-oriented. You should also have:
* A degree in Business Administration or relevant experience
* Experience in a similar sales role with a hunter profile
* A technical interest or background in technology
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in indirect sales models (preferred)
* Fluent English skills, written and spoken
