Role Overview:
Our client, a global consultancy, is currently looking to hire an Email Security Engineer to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be remote working.
Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation's IT infrastructure. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, as well as the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of the IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
* Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the IT infrastructure.
* Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies and plans.
* Manage and execute IT infrastructure projects.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
* Provide technical support to end-users.
* Evaluate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online/Exchange Online Protection (transport rules, connectors, mail flow/routing, DNS records).
* Knowledge of email authentication (DKIM, DMARC, SPF).
* PowerShell proficiency.
* Basic understanding of network/routing and network troubleshooting.
* Basic understanding of TLS and encryption.
* Knowledge of Exchange servers (Exchange server 2016, 2019).
Key Behaviours & Competencies:
* Experience in managing and supporting IT infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of network systems, virtualisation, and storage technologies.
* Experience in developing IT infrastructure strategies and managing projects.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
* Relevant industry certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), are a plus.
