Interface Director
Executive Grade E - £96,982 to £124,871 per annum
The Role
We are seeking an exceptional leader who shares our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the communities of Lanarkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a system leader who has the vision to lead, direct and manage the Interface Division of NHS Lanarkshire ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all clinical and non-clinical services in line with the Board’s strategic priorities. You will be a team player committed to further developing our cross-system working through the development and delivery of major transformational change across the whole system.
You will work with senior leaders, operational teams and partners across our system to identify and drive forward improvements that will benefit patients and our workforce through effective, efficient and safe flow. To do this you will provide leadership, guidance, establish strong relationships and use your highly developed influencing skills to effect change. You will work as part of a wider team of senior leaders and programme teams operating within the framework of Operation FLOW.
The overall purpose of this role is to provide strategic direction and strong and effective leadership in the planning, coordination, development and delivery of change and improvement, across the interface space between primary and secondary care in NHS Lanarkshire. This includes transformational change locally and regionally and in collaboration with Chief Officers and staff within the Acute Division and Health & Social Care Partnerships and neighbouring NHS Boards. You will also be a member of the NHS Lanarkshire senior management team and will be expected to contribute to the collective development and delivery of the Board’s Annual Delivery Plan and strategic plans.
You should be educated to degree level with a relevant postgraduate or equivalent experience/qualification. In addition, you should also have extensive significant experience in managing complex acute health services including significant experience operating at a senior management level.
