About the Role
We’re on the hunt for a Procurement Manager who knows their way around suppliers, contracts, and cost-saving magic. You’ll be the mastermind behind our clients supply chain, ensuring their engineering projects run smoothly with all the right parts, at the right time, for the right price.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sourcing and negotiating like a pro – getting the best deals without compromising quality
Keeping the stock levels just right – goldilocks style... not too much, not too little, but just perfect
Ownership of POs and electronic filing/traceability
Managing a team of two
Building great relationships with suppliers (and knowing when to play hardball)
Keeping an eye on budgets, contracts, and supply chain performance like a hawk
Supporting our engineering team so they can focus on doing what they do best
What We’re Looking For
Procurement experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Someone who understands Engineering Terminology - Understands what a bearing is.
A natural negotiator with a keen eye for value
Someone who loves solving problems and thrives under pressure
A bit of a "data nerd" – comfortable with reports, forecasts, and the occasional spreadsheet
A great communicator who can keep both suppliers and internal teams happy
Someone with experience of SAGE
