Best Western Ship Hotel, Weybridge is looking for a Reception Manager to join our dynamic Team. The hotel is located in the heart of Weybridge on the High Street with 76 bedrooms, bar, restaurant and function facilities.
Working either the Early or Late shift, your focus is to oversee the smooth running of the hotel primarily in the Front Office.
What you will be doing:
1. To complete daily audit as per audit checklist.
2. Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure a smooth service.
3. Lead FOH team.
4. Ensure all guest requirements are met to the highest of standards.
5. All guest complaints and compliments are recorded and reported to the General Manager.
6. Liaise with Revenue Office ensuring a good understanding of their procedures in order to provide an efficient and detailed advance reservation service as per Revenue Office stipulations.
7. Train new staff.
8. Ensure that weekly figures, statistics and records are maintained to correct standard.
9. Responsible for ensuring that all ledger invoices are correct and accurate at time of posting and liaising closely with the Accounts Department to ensure timely payment is received.
