Your Role
We are looking for part time weekend staff to join our busy Activities and Events department in a year-round school forinternational students. Activity Leaders support the Activities and Events Manager in organising and delivering a widerange of activities, excursions and events for our student body.
This is a part time position working around 12 hours overthe weekends. It has an ASAP start date, running indefinitely and with a potential for full time/permanent employment.
Responsibilities
1. Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities and day trips
2. Creates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer service
3. Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including completing and adhering to riskassessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures
4. Research excursion destinations, leads a guided tour at the destination and gives interestinginformation and facts to students
5. Liaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities andgives a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planning
6. Attends and assists the Activities and Events Manager with large events
7. Ensures the EF behaviour code is followed by all students at all times and informs the managementimmediately if there are any issues or problems
Requirements
8. Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable, outgoing personality
9. Confident in leading and managing groups of students
10. Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
11. Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
12. Customer service minded and quality oriented
13. Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences.
14. Excellent communicator both with students, colleagues, and external clients
15. A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
