Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated registered nurse with a keen interest in cancer services to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is a post for a Registered Nurse to work on The Headland Unit - a busy Monday to Friday outpatient treatment area delivering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals who enjoy clinical skills and self-development. We welcome expressions of interest from registered nurses with a minimum of 12 months experience. Experienced within this speciality is desired but not essential as we are able to provide a thorough training programme. To support our nurses, we have in house Clinical Practice Educators who work closely with new starters and guide our nurses to increase their clinical skills. The post-holder would be based on the Headland Unit, which supports our outpatient clinics in the Sunrise Centre and Haematology OPD. There is an expectation that nurses will be willing to support our sister inpatient ward, Lowen if required. On-going education and development is actively encouraged and there is access to degree level modules, as well as opportunities to attend local, national and international conferences. These posts will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to significantly develop their clinical skills and knowledge base.
