What you’ll do Being a Marketing Manager is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success – which means you’ll be: Lead long term Costa Express brand strategy including innovation strategy, portfolio offer and brand positioning in partnership with global functions Development of Express annual brand plans, across multiple platforms/channels and more than 30 external partners in travel, convenience, grocery, hospitality etc Design and lead the development and execution of national and partner specific strategic initiatives to meet commercial objectives (value and volume sales, brand penetration and frequency) Lead internal and external cross functional teams (e.g., media agency, BTL marketing agencies) to implement innovative 360 campaigns, including dedicated experiential and promotions Lead the marketing relationship with our commercial partners and operators, influencing them to secure brand strategy alignment, annual brand plan best in class execution, and developing ad-hoc joint initiatives Influence Costa Global centre of excellence to develop machines, product propositions, communication proposition in store and out of the store in line with local UK&I commercial and marketing needs Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (Operation, Design, Property, Food &Beverage) to ensure alignment and flawless execution of consumer campaigns across stores formats Work with the broader team (Finance, Commercialization) to evaluate campaign and initiatives performances to drive continuous optimization and brand profitability Who you are It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in: Consumer marketing experience in a dynamic, fast paced organisation within the UK market Strong experience in away from home channels. Experience in vending is appreciated Knowledge in different aspects of marketing, including brand planning, promotions, comms and POS development and digital activations Leadership of brand building strategy, annual brand planning, campaign phasing and development Leadership of marketing activation across all levels of the funnel and 360 touchpoints ( ATL, BTL, Sampling, experiential, loyalty scheme) Expertise in Trade/Shopper Activation Strong commercial skills and budgeting understanding Ability to set objectives and goals, track results via KPI’s Campaign and marketing performance management: analyse all marketing activity, drive efficiencies and optimise campaigns. Deep understanding of UK culture and consumers Ability to lead, coach positively and influence peers, retail partners and senior stakeholders Location: Hybrid with the ability to work from our Central London location a minimum of 2 days per week.
