Our Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of plant equipment & machinery within our organisation. The role will involve completion of routine maintenance tasks, Problem solving equipment issues and recovering reactive breakdowns as needed to minimize downtime and optimise productivity What you’ll be doing as our Maintenance Technician: Perform planned maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery & facilities in accordance to our maintenance schedules. Be the 1st responder to equipment & machinery breakdowns forming a crucial part of the escalation policy Carry out repair, replacement & refurbishment of various parts, components & systems Support the installation, relocation & modification of equipment & machinery as required Awareness of continuous improvement oppurtunities through maintenance activity & communicate potential improvements Ensure accurate records of maintenance activity including DT Reports, Work Orders & Stores Inventory Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Uphold 5s standards through all maintenance work areas Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruption The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Maintenance Technician: A clear working knowledge of differing equipment, machinery & systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic The ability to identify & resolve maintenance issues An understanding of safety regulations and ability to perform Dynamic RA Be able to communicate clear & effectively with various team members Effective time management Need to have: A relevant vocational qualification NVQ, ONC, C&G with an appropriate apprenticeship. Minimum 1 years’ experience post apprenticeship within a Maintenance environment Candidates without qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered.
