Healthcare is a sector that continues to be busy, and it constantly needs investment and facilities will continuously be updating. If you're a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare) with Building Services Design experience, this is a great sector to work in as it offers invaluable skills for today and tomorrow.
This opportunity allows the successful candidate to work on Healthcare projects that support our NHS and the development of our Hospitals. Working for a business that makes positive changes in the Community is incredibly rewarding, and the impact of the projects can't be underestimated.
You will be working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer or be a Senior who is ready to take the step up to a Principal role. This company's reputation for producing technically excellent engineers is unrivalled, making it a great place for you to continue learning your trade while being supported by a wider team with first-class expertise in the Healthcare sector.
The business is sustainability conscious, not just within the designs they are putting together as Building Services Consultants but also by raising the profile of the problem through podcasts and other outreach work.
You will be working on projects nationwide from their offices in Stockport for blue-chip organisations, public sector frameworks, and other clients, contractors, and architects. You will be given a wide variety of projects to work on, allowing you some flexibility in your work, and that is not just in the Healthcare sector as they operate in other areas too.
You will be fully supported with any Chartership applications if you wish to pursue it, as well as other accreditations including CIBSE or IMECHE.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare) who has a track record of working in the Building Services sector for other consultants or contractors. As an engineer, you will be expected to have experience of working collaboratively on projects, perhaps having led some small works, and have aspirations of leading teams and/or projects. You will be client-focused, able to project plan and resource manage, and have aspirations beyond your starting position. Experience with Hevacomp, IES, AutoCAD, or Revit would be an advantage; however, if you have done calculations long-hand or using Excel, that would also be beneficial. Chartership is not essential.
In return for your efforts, along with a competitive basic salary, you will enjoy the usual employee benefits, including pensions and private healthcare. The company also offers flexible working hours, free car parking at the office in Stockport, and they will reimburse fees to two different regulating bodies (e.g., CIBSE, IET).
If this role sounds like a position that could be of interest to you, please feel free to get in touch on (phone number removed).
