Are you a motivated professional with an engineering background looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic company? We are seeking a Customer Service Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional support to our customers.
Purpose of the Customer Service Engineer
Provide quick and efficient support to customer queries.
Ensure all queries are directed to the correct department in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the Quality Manager to investigate and reduce customer claims using our quality system.
The Key Duties of the Customer Service Engineer
Communicate with customers or suppliers via phone or email.
Work with Sales, Design, Technical, and Production teams to support customer needs.
Coordinate with the Service department to arrange site visits if required.
Arrange customer visits/inspections with the factory.
Log all customer claims in our system and ensure they are resolved promptly.
Collaborate with the Documentation Control team to handle document requests.
Utilise our Quality/NCR system to reduce future customer claims, including holding meetings with relevant departments.
The Key Requirements of the Customer Service Engineer
Strong character with good leadership qualities.
Preferably an engineering background.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Capable of handling difficult situations and working well under pressure.
Strong work ethic to set the standard for behaviour, productivity, and conduct.
