Hywel Dda Radiology is looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated Consultant Radiologist with special interest in Nuclear Medicine to join a progressive team of consultants and contribute to the on-going development of radiological services across our Health Board.
Main duties of the job
This appointment is Health Board wide, and the successful candidate would join the radiology team to provide general radiology and nuclear medicine. The candidate will contribute to the wider workload of the department subject to job plan discussions, including general radiology, second on call rotas, teaching of radiology trainees, reporting Radiographers, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff. Flexible working arrangements will be considered and discussions as to individual requirements and how they could be accommodated are welcomed.

* Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
* On Specialist Register/SpR due to obtain relevant CCT/CESR(CP) within 6 months of interview
* FRCR or equivalent qualification
* IRMER/ARSAC Licence in Nuclear Medicine
Desirable
* Relevant Higher Degree e.g. MD PhD MSc MRCP
Clinical Experience

* Broad based experience in General Radiology
* NM Istope supervision and reporting Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent)
* Knowledge and participation in CPD Competence and expertise in General Radiology

* Additional clinical qualification(s)
