.Job Title: Team Manager – Credit Risk Contract Type: Permanent Location: Edinburgh Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 14th November We are currently looking for a Team Manager to join the Business Quality Controls Team in Edinburgh. This is a key role within the Business Quality Control Team where you will lead, develop, engage, and inspire colleagues. The Team Manager role will support colleagues assess, manage, and monitor Protection intermediaries throughout their Royal London journey (from on-boarding through ongoing reviews to managing commission debt). This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as we review our processes and identify and embed opportunities for improvement. As well as managing the team day-to-day, the role will also include elements of peer review and the opportunity to design and embed a quality assurance framework to support monitoring quality standards. About the role • Setting quality standards for adviser interactions and ensuring that all adviser interactions are delivered within the quality standards set out. • Managing workflows/demand and ensuring that productivity and efficiency levels are met. • Ensuring teams understand and act within the Risk/Control framework and environment set out. • Directing and driving a continuous improvement culture within the team, focused on improving processes and outcomes. • Coaching, developing, and supporting individuals to deliver the best outcomes for customers, advisers and Royal London in an effective and efficient way. About you • Experience People Leader with demonstrable evidence in leading and engaging people on vision and purpose. • Proven capabilities in driving continuous improvement and encouraging ideas. • Understanding of intermediaries, what matters to them and how we communicate to meet their needs. • Proven experience in managing change and a changing environment (processes, procedures, technologies, and business systems) within a team management environment. • A broad knowledge of the financial services industry and the legislative / regulatory framework is preferred. • Proven experience of using Excel.
