An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an Assistant Planner / Town Planner to join a close-knit internal team of Planning professionals within a private sector company in London!
The successful candidate will join the team in helping everyday homeowners to design, finance and build their dream home without the stress and, most importantly, without breaking the bank.

Duties of the Role:
10. Provide high quality advice to the in-house designers and architects to ensure that development meets local and national policies and guidance.
11. Provide advice to the in-house consultants regarding early project feasibility and risks.
12. Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, triaging communication and allocating actions, as necessary.
13. Identify ways to improve engagement and relationships with Local Planning Authorities.
Candidate Requirements:
14. RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field of study.
15. Previous experience ideally within the public sector.
16. Very good understanding of the UK Planning System, in particular Permitted Development Rights and Householder applications.
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
