Job Title: Technical Trainer – 12m Fixed Term Contract
Salary: starting salary £27,800 rising to £29,200 when role requirements are met
Contract: Full time & contract 12 Months
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
The Opportunity:
As we implement our Global Leader Profile (GLP), the Technical Trainer will play a crucial role in equipping our production staff to meet business expectations. You will provide essential skills training through one-on-one and group coaching sessions, ensuring our team is trained to the highest standards.
What you will do:
As a Technical Trainer, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
1. Mentor and Coach: Guide new hires and transfers to meet the required 75% skills matrix standard.
2. Training Delivery: Conduct training courses, assessments, and initiatives for our Value Streams.
3. Create Training Materials: Develop aids and packages that emphasize safety and quality.
4. Promote Best Practices: Encourage optimal assembly techniques and assess operatives' competency.
5. Support and Record: Provide Job Instructional Training, maintain training records, and conduct wellbeing visits for apprentices.

What You Can Demonstrate:
1. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to individuals or groups.
2. Adaptability: Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and stay updated with industry changes.
3. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve training outcomes.
4. People & Communication: Able to deliver training to individuals and groups.
5. The role requires self-motivation with excellent interpersonal, written & communication skills.
6. Computer literate.
What You May Have:
1. Training & Development: Training or certificates such as CIPD Training Certificate or Level 3 certificate in L & D or a proven skill in delivering training.
