We have a great permanent opportunity to join an awesome maintenance team delivering vital work for a key customer at our Rugby site. The role will entail the following;
* Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failure
* Perform systems analysis on various systems including S7 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network. Log analysis on sorter controllers
* Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.
* Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard.
* Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.
* Backup and restore PLC
* Ability to articulate detailed reports
* Monitor Operational sorter performances and implementing of continuous improvement measures at customer request
* Support existing site based BEUMER Group CS Colleagues
* Support with project and facility management work.
* General customer support
* 4 on 4 off shifts, days and nights
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 Engineering/HNC Eng/HND Eng/ONC Eng
* Siemens Step 7 Level 2
* Knowledge of conducting sorter Health Checks
* Knowledge of sortation and conveyor systems i.e. LS3000 CB or TT/LS4000 CB or TT/BG Sorters/Line Sorters
* Knowledge of Emergency Stop System
* Knowledge of Safety Supervision System
