Your new role
The position and duties will include: -• Processing internet and payroll giving receipts and making payments in Barclays.• Support the effective management and control of cash belonging to residents using our banking account management system.• Post payments and receipts on the bank accounts correctly and efficiently.• Ensuring sundry payments are processed through the appropriate platform.• Support Services with the banking, coding and processing of cash and cheques received locally.• Ensure all non-fee ie is posted correctly and efficiently.• Contribute to thepletion of bank reconciliations by downloading statements, running and coding macros.• Process Payroll related BACS payments and BACS recalls.• Support other members of the Cash Team as required.• Save and distribute Bank statements.• Maintenance of regular payments including standing orders and direct debits• Maintaining prepaid cards• Processing and banking of cheques received centrally• Ordering and distributing paying in books and resident fund ledgers• Monitoring the cash Team inbox and dealing with day to day queries• Downloading BACS reports on failed payments and collections
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have experience with general daily administration duties and working to deadlines. The candidate will require the following: -• Experience in a high transaction volume finance department, preferably in a cashier/treasury role• Good level of accounting knowledge• Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products, in particular Microsoft Excel• To be able to prioritise and work under pressure.• Accurate preparation and presentation of financial information/data entry skills.• Experience inputerised accounting packages.
