Job Title: Financial Intelligence Quality Assurance Manager
Salary: £40,000
Location: Kings Hill (2 days a week in office)
An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, a market leading Financial Services organisation based in Kent. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Intelligence Quality Assurance professional to join a highly reputable Customer Due Diligence team.
Duties include:
1. Assist in ensuring a robust Quality Control framework is in place for the management of all Know Your Customer (KYC) activity, including catering for any changes in regulation or policy
2. Complete retrospective quality assurance reviews on Financial Intelligence activity to ensure processes and policies have been adhered to
3. Sample cases to ensure the content of the case files and recommendations are clear, complete and supported by the required information
4. Identify problem areas and risks associated with processes and make recommendations to improve quality and efficiencies
5. Deliver feedback and organise training for the team through mentoring, coaching and use of external services
6. Be proactive in the suggestion and development of new work processes and procedures, assisting with the implementation of solutions where required
The successful candidate will have:
7. Sound knowledge of the UK anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing, and sanctions legal and regulatory framework
8. Experience with alerts and case investigations which Financial Crime teams deal with
9. Keen attention to detail while able to take a pragmatic approach to risks
10. Able to adopt a systematic and structured approach to working multiple projects
11. Willing to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision
