Consultant Ecologist
Location: Sussex (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent (Full:Time)
Salary: GBP30,000 : GBP35,000
Consultant Ecologist Role:
A growing ecological consultancy is looking for a Consultant Ecologist to lead surveys, conduct site assessments, and support project management. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious ecologist to take on more responsibility and develop within a supportive team.
Consultant Ecologist Requirements:
* At least two years experience in ecological consultancy
* A degree in ecology or a related field
* Strong field identification skills and protected species survey experience
* Knowledge of UK/EU wildlife legislation and planning policies
* Experience with Habitat Classification and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* At least one Natural England protected species licence
* A valid driving licence and business:insured vehicle
