About Us: We are a forward-thinking company embarking on a major project to implement SAP across our business. Our state-of-the-art, purpose-built factory for robotics and automation is the heart of our operations. As we transition from legacy systems to SAP, we need a talented Senior/Lead Developer to join our small, dynamic IT team.
Reason for the Role:
We are now seeking a high-calibre professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results autonomously to help us keep our high standard customer service to meet requirements and continue to meet our £30m yearly revenue.
Day-to-Day Duties:
* Work with a team of 3/4 developers.
* Develop and maintain bespoke systems to integrate with SAP.
* Support.Net & legacy systems while transitioning to new technologies.
* Collaborate with SAP specialists and consultants.
* Revamp and develop new features for our CRM system using Blazor.
* Ensure seamless communication between systems (e.g., printers, robotics) using APIs.
* Implement containerized development and CI/CD pipelines.
* Utilize Azure for single sign-on and other applications.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
* Oracle / PL/SQL
* C# .NET
* Experience with legacy systems (Oracle back end for business logic)
* .NET Framework, Windows web services, and
* Blazor knowledge
* SAP integration
* API development (XML, JSON)
* DevOps for CI/CD and containerized development
* Azure for single sign-on
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in manufacturing environments
