Newcastle Bridges School is seeking to appoint an outstanding IT Teacher who is passionate, ambitious and can drive the school forward with the latest technology.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* The ability to teach IT up to key stage 4 and be able to offer alternative option subjects, such as Digital Information Technology, or Creative Media Production, or Travel and Tourism etc. to Levels 1 and 2
* Flexibility and an understanding of pupils with a wide range of learning needs
* Experience working within a SEND environment would be beneficial
The post will predominantly be based in our Kenton provision, but you may be required to work at other sites across the school depending on need. The majority of our pupils at Kenton have an Education Health Care plan, therefore, we are required to meet their individual needs and we use a quality first teaching style.
This post may suit a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge or experience.

* To establish a purposeful and safe learning environment and support learners’ behaviour constructively
* Contribute to the monitoring and development of the required subject/s to ensure suitable opportunities are provided for learner aspiration to be met
* Plan effectively in the short, medium and long-term
* Assess, record and report on the development and progress of learners
