Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles and equipment. This is a full-time position based in our workshop in Bradford.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment
3. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
4. Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
5. Test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning after repairs
6. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Skills:
1. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for mechanical repairs
2. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
3. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
4. Excellent problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of problems
5. Attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repairs
6. Good communication skills to explain complex technical issues to customers

Good rates of pay depending on experience.
Pay: From £22,409.82 per year
