Technical Coordinator – Business Support & Administration
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, BAE Systems
Contract Length: 12 months with a potential to go perm
Hourly Rate: £16.50 PAYE
Working Pattern: Hybrid working
Join the Export Control Authorisations team at BAE Systems and play a key role in supporting specialist admin processes. We're looking for an experienced administrator with strong IT and Excel skills, who can confidently manage data, handle payments, raise POs, and coordinate technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Process export control training and licence access.
* Manage payments, budgets, and insurance documentation.
* Use Excel, SAP, BIT Portal, and Teamcenter to support reporting and analysis.
* Maintain accurate documentation and shared mailboxes.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
* Solid admin experience with strong IT skills.
* Ability to extract, analyse and manipulate data and format to meet customer requirements.
* Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent.
* Confident working with internal systems and tools.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and managing workload.
