Administrator Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: New Milton / Hybrid Contract: Full-Time / Permanent Our client is a significant player in the technology-enabled care sector in the UK, dedicated to enhancing the safety and independence of vulnerable individuals through innovative solutions. They are seeking a Finance Administrator to join their successful and fast-paced finance department, providing comprehensive financial administrative support. Main Responsibilities: End-to-end management of Direct Debit processing, including setting up mandates, generating schedules, processing collections, handling rejections, and resolving related inquiries. Processing cheques, handling card payments over the phone, and managing both incoming and outgoing post. Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks, including posting transactions, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. Handling sensitive financial data and ensuring secure transaction processing. Processing credits, closing Direct Debit accounts, and following up on refunds and outstanding debts. Managing incoming finance-related phone calls and providing timely and accurate responses to customer queries. Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes, including data entry, reconciliations, and assisting with audits. Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks and contributing to the smooth operation of the finance team. Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in an administrative position is preferred however not essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe PDF’s. Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical skills and the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive customer interactions professionally and empathetically. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion when handling financial information. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines. Proactive and willing to take initiative in problem-solving and improving processes.
