As we expand into international markets, including key regions in Spain and Latin America, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Finance Manager to lead our financial strategy and operations.
This role requires a qualified accountant with exceptional financial acumen, fluency in Spanish, and the ability to operate effectively in a scaling business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Strategy
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Accounting & Compliance
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to UK GAAP/IFRS standards.
Manage audits, tax filings, and compliance with local and international regulations.
Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
International Operations Support
Lead financial operations for Spanish-speaking markets, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws.
Act as the key liaison between the UK headquarters and international partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support the operational needs of the business.
Scaling Initiatives
Optimize financial systems and processes to support the company’s growth trajectory.
Provide financial insights for fundraising efforts and investor relations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
Experience:
Proven track record as a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally in a scaling or international business. Experience in the chemical engineering, manufacturing, or related industries is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
