Site Manager – Historic Sites Remedial Works Join Dandara Living Legacy as we oversee the remediation of our historic sites, ensuring compliance with the new legislation, including updated standards following the Grenfell Tower recommendations. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory standards across our portfolio. What you will do: Oversee the remedial works of our historic sites, ensuring all work is in line with updated legislation for building safety. Coordinate the setup of temporary site accommodation and welfare facilities as needed. Implement and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance. Manage subcontractors and ensure timely completion of all remedial activities. Liaise with local authorities, safety inspectors, and other regulatory bodies throughout the progress of works. Chair site progress meetings and collaborate with stakeholders, including facade engineers and building control. Maintain quality assurance procedures and ensure all work meets the required standards. Track project milestones and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Ensure effective communication with all departments, including commercial and design teams. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager within residential or commercial projects. Experience managing remedial works or similar construction activities. Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and fire stopping requirements. Proven track record in delivering projects to a high standard, with a focus on compliance. Relevant certifications, including SMSTS, First Aid, and Scaffold Appreciation. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
