We are looking for a dedicated and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality education and ensuring that all students receive the support they need to thrive. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the classroom, assisting in creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students.

Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support for children with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
* Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
* Implement personalised learning plans and strategies tailored to individual needs.
* Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Foster independence and confidence in pupils by encouraging engagement in learning activities.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions.
* Maintain accurate records of pupils’ progress and development.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, or other learning needs.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children’s development.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
