Calling for an Infrastructure & Support Specialist for an FTC with a leading client in Wembley!
Duration: 6-12 months
Start: ASAP
The selected Infrastructure & Support Specialist will be involved in 2nd to 3rd line support activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Support & Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktop environment
2. Support & Troubleshoot MS Office
3. Windows 11 Migration deployment
4. Backup and Recovery of files folders, using Veritas and Veeam
5. Hardware/software procurement using global portals and local suppliers
6. Managing logon scripts
Required Skills and Abilities:
1. Installing, Support, Manage, and troubleshoot Windows Server (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Services, Group Policy management, RDS, IIS, server hardware troubleshooting) - Versions 2016/2019/2022
2. Installing, Support, Manage, and troubleshoot Storage: NAS/SAN (Netapp/EMC/HP), Hyper-convergence, Virtual SAN (desirable)
3. Install, Configure and troubleshoot Networking (VOIP - Mitel, DECT Telephony, VLAN, VPN Clients, Cisco, Firewall (desirable)
4. Installing, Support, Manage, and troubleshoot Virtualisation VMWare/HyperV platforms experience
5. Cyber Security awareness and remediation skills
6. Installing, configuring, and maintaining MS SQL Server
7. PowerShell scripting (desirable)
8. Understanding of automation tools such as infrastructure as code - ansible (desirable)
9. Experience with automation of IT tasks
10. Understanding of transfer protocols (sFTP, FTPS, etc..)
11. Understand the backup and recovery process of servers.
12. Basic knowledge of Linux systems (desirable)
13. Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, PCI (desirable)
