We have an opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team in our children’s home in Abergavenny, supporting up to 4 Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders. All our homes are based in a semi-rural location to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we support.

To be a successful Deputy Children’s Home Manager, you’ll need:
* QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) is essential.
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or a Shift Leader, in a Children’s residential setting.
* The ability to work with autonomy in addition to excellent communication skills, both with internal and external agencies.
* A willing attitude and a caring, reliable nature.
* Compassion and empathy.
* Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice.
* A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation, and resilience.
* Due to the requirements of the role the minimum age requirement for the role is 22 years of age.
* Full UK manual driving license (This is essential due to the needs of the Young People we support).
